The Eagle Rock Residence is a sprawling  mountain estate designed to emerge naturally from the surrounding Montana landscape. Overlooking Whitefish Lake, the project combines contemporary mountain architecture with a deeply rooted connection to site, material, and environment.

The design is grounded in a palette of natural materials including native stone, exposed timber, and cedar siding, creating a residence that feels both monumental and organic. Large roof forms, expansive structural elements, and carefully layered material transitions give the home a powerful architectural presence while maintaining harmony with the terrain.

Positioned to capture panoramic views of Whitefish Lake and the surrounding mountains, the residence uses extensive glazing and open interior volumes to maximize natural light and strengthen the connection between interior and exterior space. Each major living area is oriented toward the landscape, creating an immersive experience throughout the home.
